Abstract
The purpose of the research was to investigate the current status of the curriculum of the doctoral course of Shiraz University and compare it with the curriculum of a number of top universities in other countries in this field. The design of the research is descriptive and comparative studies and was carried out with the Brady method. The statistical population of the universities was the implementation of the academic field of the curriculum in the doctoral course. Among different universities abroad, 6 famous universities were selected with a targeted approach. Documents and documents, details of the curriculum and the process of passing the doctoral course in the selected universities were studied and reviewed. The required information was extracted from the headings of the curriculum courses published on the website of the selected universities and summarized in separate tables, and by comparing the information of the prepared tables, the existing similarities and differences were described, compared and analyzed. The results of the research indicated the existence of differences and similarities in the curriculum of different universities with the curriculum of Shiraz University, the similarities in the curriculum of Shiraz University with the curriculum of other universities, the length of the course, the similar process of passing the course, the simultaneous emphasis on two The educational and research part and the differences in the curriculum of Shiraz University with other universities such as: the title of the course, the type of division of the course headings, lack of attention to methodology and research courses in the curriculum area, lack of attention to the seminar course and The difference was in the total number of units assigned for the doctoral course.
